Sebastian Ingrosso 2013

Sebastian Carmine Ingrosso (* 20th April 1983 ) is a Swedish House - DJ . Together with Steve Angello and Axwell , Ingrosso formed the DJ trio Swedish House Mafia , which disbanded in March 2013. With Axwell he has formed the duo Axwell Λ Ingrosso since June 2014 .

Career

He grew up with Steve Angello in Stockholm and both tried to establish themselves as DJs at a young age. At that time, Ingrosso's father had two labels that mainly signed DJs from the Acid House and Tech House genres. This is how Ingrosso came to music. In 1992 he recorded his first song Der er et yndigt Tissemand with Eric Prydz . He did not appear on single, however. In 1998 he released his first single, Bring It Back, which he released with Steve Angello. Together as a duo, they released other songs. In 2003, Sebastian Ingrosso founded Refune Records , which made it more and more popular.

Together with Eric Prydz , Axwell and his old friend Steve Angello , he founded the Swedish House Mafia in 2005 . But since Eric Prydz moved to London , the three of them continued. In 2007 they released their first single Get Dumb as a trio together with the Dutch DJ Laidback Luke . But it was rather a minor success.

He had his first solo chart success in 2009 with Axwell and Salem Al Fakir with the single It's True . It reached number 28 on the Swedish charts. In the same year he got two more chart placements. Once in collaboration with David Guetta , Dirty South and Julie McKnight with the song How Soon Is Now and a second success with Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Axwell and Deborah Cox with the single Leave the World Behind .

In 2009, he was ranked 25th in the DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ list , making him the highest newcomer. Then began the worldwide success with the Swedish House Mafia. The song Save the World was able to crack several top 10 and Don't You Worry Child even became the number one hit in Sweden and Great Britain .

Another hit in Sweden and Great Britain was the single Calling (Lose My Mind) which was recorded with Alesso and Ryan Tedder . In July 2012, the Swedish House Mafia announced their split. In March 2013 they had their last joint appearance at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami . It was the finale of the 53 shows of their One Last Tour, which at times was followed by over 300,000 people worldwide.

Together with the singer John Martin , who sang the two biggest hits of the Swedish House Mafia, and the Australian DJ Tommy Trash , he recorded the song Reload in 2013 , which was released as a single on May 10, 2013. The track was able to surpass the success of the previous single Calling (Lose My Mind) and reached high chart positions, including the top 10 in Sweden and Great Britain and was also able to enter the top 10 in all German-speaking countries.

After the Swedish House Mafia dissolved in the spring of 2013, Sebastian Ingrosso started the Axwell Λ Ingrosso project together with Axwell in June 2014 .
