Baba Saad

Baba Saad (born November 26, 1985 in Beirut , Lebanon ; bourgeois Saad El-Haddad , Arabic : سعد الحداد) is a German rapper of Lebanese origin who was under contract with Bushido's label ersguterjunge from 2005 to 2011 and has been there again since 2020 . He is the owner of the hip-hop label Halunkenbande .

Life

Saad came to Germany from Lebanon in 1994. He first lived in Syke with his family before moving to Bremen . After graduating from secondary school, he came into contact with the Berlin rapper Bushido . In 2004 he invited him to take part in the recordings for Electro Ghetto . Saad could then be heard again together with Bushido on their joint album Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II (2005). The uncoupled single Nie ein Rapper rose to number 24 in the German single charts.

At the ersguterjunge label

From summer 2005 Saad was under contract with Bushido's label ersguterjunge . He was featured on Bushido's album Staatsfeind Nr. 1 (2005) and supported him on tour on the following tour against bail . He was represented with his own track ( I hold the position ) on Bushido's single moment , released in 2005 . On the single ( Staatsfeind Nr.1 ​​/ Endgegner ) by Bushido he can be heard on the track ( Staatsfeind Nr. 1 Sti Remix ) together with Bushido, Chakuza and Eko Fresh.

Baba Saad was on the Public Enemy No. 1 tour with Bushido in winter 2005 . He was represented together with Bushido, D-Bo , Eko Fresh , Billy and Chakuza in the video Nemesis from the album ersguterjunge Sampler Vol. 1 - Nemesis , on which he also has his own track called SAAD . On the album Game Over by Azad Saad is also a feature ( eye of the storm represented). On June 16, 2006 his first solo album Das Leben ist Saad and the single Womit I deserved it was released. The album debuted at number 15 in the official German album charts, the single at number 68.

Saad's second solo album was originally supposed to be called The Godfather . At the beginning of July 2007, the Freetrack state of emergency produced by Decay was released. In early 2008 it was announced that the second album would not be called The Godfather for legal reasons . It is called Saadcore and was released on March 22, 2008. The first single is the song Regen , on which rapper Bushido is featured with a guest contribution.

In March 2011, Saad was at a concert by rapper warrant known not ersguterjunge at being under contract. He later gave musical differences as the reason.

Own label scoundrels

On September 9, 2011, the solo album Halunke entered the German album charts at number 16. It was released on Baba Saad's own label Halunkenbande .

In February and March 2012, Baba Saad went on a scoundrel on prey tour. In the course of the tour there was the release of an old, previously unreleased album, the release of which was rejected by Bushido's label ersguterjunge. Saad released the album on his label Halunkenbande under the title Rejected .

In 2012 Saad signed rappers Dú Maroc and SadiQ , whose joint album Narkotic reached number 53 in the charts. The next release should be a Saad and SadiQ collab album , which should be called Cannabis Coka Nouga . But in September Saad announced that he would have to part with his artists. On the one hand, there were artistic differences; on the other hand, he suffered a personal stroke of fate and is currently unable to concentrate on his label. The already recorded album will therefore not be released. Baba Saad withdrew to Lebanon for a while. In 2013 he continued both his career and his label activities.

In 2013 Saad released his album SDoppelAD on the label Halunkenbande, on which, in addition to Saad himself, the rap artists Jack da Rapper, Reece , Gecko and Fero can be heard. In the same year Estatainment by the Saarland rapper EstA appeared .

Saad released his last solo album, according to the announcement, in 2014, entitled Life is Saadcore . After that, he just wanted to appear on other albums and act as the label boss. At the end of 2014 he brought out the EP Yayo Tape via the online shop Distributionz as a standard edition and as a fan bundle, and in 2015 the second scoundrel sampler called Beuteschema . It was also sold in the shop as a standard edition and as a fan bundle. Saad's album Saadcore Reloaded was distributed from December 2015. In 2016 the collab album Bang Bang was released , together with the rapper Punch Arogunz . This reached number 6 on the German album charts.

In 2017, all artists left Saad's label scoundrels . In November 2017, the artist Punch Arogunz , who was previously on the label, released a disstrack against Saad. December 2017 Baba Saad released Yayo Tape II .

Baba Saad announced on January 25, 2019 that he had ended his rap career with immediate effect and that no new rap songs would be released.
