Halunkenbande is a German independent label that was founded in 2011 by Baba Saad (civil: Saad El-Haddad ).
Career
After Saad's unexpected departure from Bushido's label ersguterjunge , which he announced at a concert in support of the arrest warrant , Saad created the label Halunkenbande. The first release was his album Halunke , which entered the German album charts at number 16. Rejected followed a year later , an album that was actually planned for ersguterjunge.
In 2012 Saad signed rappers Dú Maroc and SadiQ , whose joint album Narkotic reached number 53 in the charts. The next release should be a Saad and SadiQ collab album , which should be called Cannabis Coka Nouga . But in September Saad announced that he would have to part with his artists. On the one hand there were artistic differences, on the other hand he suffered a personal stroke of fate and currently cannot concentrate on his label. The already recorded album will therefore not be released. Baba Saad withdrew to Lebanon for a while. In 2013 he continued both his career and his label activities.
Saad's album S Double AD was released in April 2013 . In May 2013 Saad announced that he had signed the Saarland rapper EstA . He discovered this through the video battle tournament (VBT). On June 28, 2013 the album EstAtainment was released , which reached number 11 in the German charts. On August 28, 2013 Saad announced that in addition to EstA, he had also signed rapper Punch Arogunz . Just like EstA, this one has also achieved a certain degree of awareness through the VBT. On October 11, 2013, the label sampler Beuteschema was published , on which the artists Baba Saad, EstA and Punch Arogunz are primarily represented. Guest contributions come from EstA's friend McTwist as well as Tumor der Atze and Charles Clear, both of whom are part of Punch Arogunz's "111-Übersound Crew".
On January 31, 2014, Punch Arogunz's debut album Carnivora was released . This was followed by the debut album by 4tune , also a VBT rapper, and the album Das Leben ist Saadcore, announced as Baba Saad's last solo album . Subsequently, however, the album Yayo Tape was released , which he marketed as a mixtape and on which all artists of the label were represented.
On April 12, 2015, the scoundrel gang and EstA announced that EstA would not renew its contract. The separation was amicable and was justified with musical differences. On December 18, 2015, Baba Saad's album Saadcore Reloaded was released . On August 19, 2016, the collaboration album by the two artists Punch Arogunz and Baba Saad called Bang Bang was released. On February 17, 2017, the sextape Vol. 1 by the artist Twizzy was released . This is his first release on this label.
After all artists left the scoundrel gang and Baba Saad ended his rap career in January 2019, it is unclear whether the label still exists.
