Stine Småkasin (born July 16, 1989 ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Småkasin, who started for the Heddal IL association , made her international debut at the age of only 15 on March 6, 2005 as part of the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in Vikersund . In doing so, she immediately achieved her first point placement on the normal hill with rank 20. She also jumped into the points at the summer competitions in Klingenthal , Pöhla and Meinerzhagen .

In November 2005 Småkasin started in the Norges Cup and won, among other things, the jumping in Vikersund in the junior class.

On December 26, 2005, Småkasin fell hard while training in Notodden on Tveitanbakken after being hit by a gust of wind in the last third of the jump. Although her head hit hard, she seemed to have survived the fall well at first. However, this meant the end of her career for her, as she did not find her way back into the international squad afterwards.
