Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II is a hip-hop album by Bushido and Baba Saad , who work on phonograms under the pseudonyms Sonny Black and Saad. It was first published on April 4, 2005 on the ersguterjunge label . On February 24, 2006, a Ltd. Pure Edition released.
Musical style
In terms of content, the majority of the pieces on Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II revolve around life on the street. Associated with this, Baba Saad and Sonny Black rap about drug trafficking, prostitutes and gun violence. The difficult living conditions described in the outskirts of Berlin are intensified by the hard lecture by the rappers. The excessive use of strong expressions by both rappers is also striking. The beats of the songs were produced by Bushido himself. The only exception is the title Intro by DJ Ilan . Numerous productions are darkly designed and, as is typical for Bushido, equipped with string samples. The only guest appearance on the album comes from the rapper D-Bo on the song Träume im Dunkeln .

The cover of the first edition from 2005 reads “Bushido produces Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II”. The background is gray and the font has a chrome look, with the 2006 edition the background color is brown and the font is very blurry.

Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II entered the 16th calendar week of 2005 at number 3 in the German album charts. In the following weeks the sound carrier occupied position 15; 21 and 25. The album was in the list of the 100 best-selling albums of the week for a total of nine weeks.
The single Never a Rapper reached number 24 in the German single charts . Like the album, the single stayed in the German charts for a total of nine weeks.
In the Swiss charts, the sound carrier occupied position 22 and stayed in the charts for a total of six weeks.
criticism
The reviews of Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II were mixed. The e-zine Laut.de rated the album with only two of a possible five rating points. The editor in charge points out that Saad is not able to “maintain” a “similar uncompromising attitude” as his predecessor Fler on the first part. The Laut.de editorial team highlighted the pieces Immer Noch and Denk An Mich as positive .
“Even if the Taliban closes the album quite well, you still want to hold your head as soon as it is over. The beats, even if they are still better than the German average, are miles away from what Bushido has proven to be capable of playing. Lyrically, the two of them have nothing to say except phrases. The four or five acceptable tracks on the record don't change that either. "
The German hip-hop magazine Juice rated the sound carrier with four out of a possible six “crowns”. The review points out that the album "transports a constant" foggy mood of coldness and aggression "and that the numerous verbal injuries form the basic structure of the sound carrier. The performance of rapper Saad, who raps “on an equal footing” with Bushido, is rated positively. In summary, the editors of the Juice say that Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II meets the expectations of the fans, but also those of the skeptics.
