7 Live is the second live and video album by the Berlin rapper Bushido . It was released on February 15, 2008 through his label Ersguterjunge and Sony BMG . The DVD is approved by the FSK for ages 16 and over.

content

The album contains a concert recording of Bushido's performance on December 6, 2007 in the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt am Main . With twelve songs, most were taken from the associated studio album 7 . Other pieces played come from his previously released studio albums Vom Bordstein bis zur Skyline (three songs), Electro Ghetto (one track), Public Enemy No. 1 (one track) and Von der Skyline zum Bordstein zurück (two pieces). There is also one song from each of the collaborative albums Carlo Cokxxx Nutten II , Vendetta and Alles Gute comes from below as well as from Chakuza's studio album City Cobra . Bushido will be supported at the concert by the artists Kay One , Nyze , Chakuza and DJ Stickle , who were then under contract with Ersguterjunge .

The DVD also contains a tour film and four music videos .

Cover design

The album cover shows Bushido's black silhouette when performing on stage. At the bottom of the picture is the title 7 Live in glowing white letters and Bushido's logo in white at the top left. The background is kept in blue tones.

Chart success

The sales of the album are counted together with those of the studio album 7 : After the release of the live album, it entered the German charts at number 3 and stayed in the top 100 for 15 weeks.

“Very clearly: Bushido live, that means technical perfection and detailed planning down to the smallest public gag. There is no room for innovation, improvisation or all those playful notes that can make a hip hop event so endearing. [...] So the question remains, what is the point of purchasing this record. If you want to convince yourself of Bushido's breathtaking presence, it is best to do it live, or at least together with the visual possibilities offered by a bottomless money barrel on the DVD that will be released at the same time.
