Beyond good and bad is the eighth solo album by the German rapper Bushido . It was published as standard, limited, 3D deluxe and Media Markt editions on May 13, 2011 via Bushido's label ersguterjunge .

In addition to some gangsta rap- typical battle tracks (e.g. Das ist Business , Cash Money Brothers ), the album also contains many thoughtful songs like Nothing is forever or would you still be here? some of which come in the form of ballads with vocal interludes by German R&B singers (e.g. you are human , forget me and immortal ). There are also two love songs ( Wanted & Found and Grateful ) on the album. The song Gangster by DJ Premier is a sample of the following songs:

Guest Posts

On the album, the French rapper Booba , the American rapper Swizz Beatz and Bushido's label colleague Kay One are represented as guest contributions with Rapparts .

The German RnB singer J-Luv from Frankfurt am Main and the German RnB singer Xavier Naidoo , a member of the Söhne Mannheims , contributed vocal parts .

In addition to Bushido himself, Beatzarre , Djorkaeff , DJ Desue , Araab Muzik, Swizz Beatz , DJ Premier , Rsonist and Benny Blanco were responsible for the beats on Beyond Good and Evil . Most of the songs were recorded and mixed by Beatzarre & Djorkaeff in the Beatzarre Studio in Berlin.

The cover of the Premium Edition is decorated with a black sprayed Bushido logo on the white cover, which has been severed several times by a samurai sword.

The 3D deluxe edition comes up with a 3D cover on which Bushido can be seen with a samurai sword in his right hand, which he has placed over his right shoulder. This version comes with 3D glasses.

Singles

forget me

In the run-up to the album, the song Vergiss mich was released on April 22nd, both in CD and digital format, as the first single with a video clip , in which RnB singer J-Luv sings the chorus of the song and ends with a short vocal part. The single made it to number 19 in the German charts and reached number 26 in Austria. In Switzerland, the single came in at position 34.

Would you still be here?

The second single Would you still be here? was published digitally on June 3, 2011. The accompanying video was released four days earlier. The single made it to number 44 in Germany, number 48 in Austria and number 68 in Switzerland. Bushido presented the song together with rapper Kay One on the television show The Dome .

This is business

This is Business is a song received on the 3D Deluxe Edition, with Bushido receiving support from Kay One. Thanks to heavy downloads on the Internet, the song was able to position itself at number 60 in the Austrian charts for a week.

Chart success

The album reached number one in the respective longplay charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland . In the first week the album was sold around 26,000 times.
