The Tedox KG is a retail company in the DIY sector, based in Harste , a district of Bovenden in Göttingen district . It describes itself as a "renovation discounter". In 2017 the company had over 111 branches in Germany (2012: 82).

In the former estate is the seat of the former carpet domain Harste GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded in 1972 by Karl-Heinz Rehkopf and Rainer Wunderlich. The two company founders divided the company into two areas in 1986. Rainer Wunderlich ran the furniture store domain , which specialized in furniture. Karl-Heinz Rehkopf was the head of the carpet domain Harste GmbH & Co. The carpet domain Harste GmbH & Co. KG was renamed Tedox 2007, formed from the first two letters of Te ppich and Do activator domain and an x . The purchasing department is in Nörten-Hardenberg . The branches extend across Germany, mainly in the Ruhr area and Lower Saxony , and there is also an online shop. Tedox calls itself Der Renovierungsdiscounter. Tedox works in purchasing with the furniture store discounter chain Roller , in which the owner family Rehkopf held a 25.1% stake until July 2007.
