7 is the fifth solo album by the Berlin rapper Bushido . It was released on August 31, 2007 on Bushido's label ersguterjunge . After Bushido's departure from Universal , it is the first album to be distributed via the Sony BMG label . Bushido is supported on the album by rappers Chakuza , Nyze , Summer Cem and Kay One as well as the participant in the second season of the talent show Deutschland sucht den Superstar Philippe Bühler .
Chart successes
The album debuted at number 1 on the Media Control Charts in Germany. Thus, for the first time in his career, Bushido made it to number 1 in the German album charts. The album is said to have already achieved gold status seven days before its official release due to the number of pre-orders . In Austria and Switzerland, too, Bushido made it to number 2 on the respective hit lists for the first time with an album. The album also achieved platinum status in Austria.

On the day the album was released, Bushido was the thematic focus in the MTV show TRL XXL . In the interview, the rapper explained that title 7 could be interpreted in different ways. As examples, he pointed out that on the one hand it is his seventh solo album (he comes up with seven albums, since he includes demotape and King of Kingz ), but also on the seven virtues of the samurai or the number of letters in his artist name could relate.
In a later edition of TV total by Stefan Raab, however, he stated that the 7 was only explained by the fact that it was the seventh album. In addition, the artist refers to both in his intro, as well as in the song scum on the film Seven of David Fincher .
In the song Are there you Bushido reveals that he is single and has not yet found his dream woman. He wonders if she really exists: a woman who is always loyal to him, sees in him the real person, not the rapper, and accepts him for who he is.
Singles
All is lost is the first song on the album that was released as a single. On the premium single can be an instrumental version and an addition to the album version Screwaholic - Remix , a Bizzy Montana find remix and music video for the song. In addition to the album version, the basic version also contains the music video.
All lost rose to number 4 in the German single charts. This makes the song the first Bushido single to get into the top 10. In Austria, the rapper was able to occupy number 11 in the charts with his first single. In the second week he made it to number 3 on the Austrian charts.
The second single was the song Reich mir nicht dein Hand . It was released on November 16, 2007. In addition to the title track, there are also two exclusive remixes, one by Decay and the other by D-Bo , together with the video clip shot on Rügen on the single. In addition, the single charted at number 23 in the German single charts.

Producers
Some hip hop musicians were involved in the production of 7 . Behind the Horizon was produced by Milan Martelli . The music to It Can Begin was from Bizzy Montana and the song Who I Am? was contributed by Screwaholic . Both of them were under contract with Bushido's label ersguterjunge .
The main producer is the production duo Beatlefield , which consists of Chakuza and DJ Stickle . These pieces of music have lost everything , times are changing , where you ended up here , don't give me your hand , truth , city of angels and life that you don't know produced.
A production ( Be Like It ) was contributed by Auditory. The play Heile Welt was produced by Yvan Jaquemet. Bushido himself produced a song ( No Sun ). This one wish was contributed by Blanco and Decay is responsible for the background music for the scraps .
Furthermore, two songs were produced by Steddybeats. These are Are you there? and rainbow . In addition, asylum status was produced by David Dos Santos.
