EstAtainment is the debut album by the German rapper EstA . It was released on June 28, 2013 on the label Halunkenbande ( Soulfood ) by Baba Saad as a standard and VBT edition, including eight bonus songs.

Although EstA was primarily known as the battle rapper before the album was released, many of the songs on EstAtainment have quite strong influences from pop music . So many hooklines are sung by EstA and the singles Es geht , as well as summer should spread a positive atmosphere. Only the songs Alone Against All and Let Them Talk are thematically more aggressive. Among the eight bonus songs of the VBT edition are five rounds from EstA from the VBT Splash! 2013 as well as the song Mein Tag, previously released as a freetrack .

The album was mainly produced by EstA's producer 2Bough , who was also under contract with the Halunkenbande label at the time .
Cover design
The album cover is a drawing of EstA's face wearing sunglasses. His head represents a building where the mouth is the entrance to which a red carpet leads. His arms stick out next to his head and stretch the middle finger towards the viewer . There is a speech bubble above the head with the title EstAtainment in black letters . The white lettering Halunken Gang presents and EstA are in the upper part of the picture.
Guest Posts
There are only guest appearances by other artists on three songs in the VBT edition. This is how the rapper McTwist steps on the songs That's us and VBT-Splash! 8th second round EstA vs. ÉSMaticx in appearance. The song Mein Tag is a collaboration with EstA's label boss Baba Saad .

The album entered the German charts at number 11, but left the Top 100 again the following week.
The songs Es geht and Sommer were released as singles in advance , but neither of them could be placed in the charts. Music videos were also shot for both songs. A video was also created for the piece Let them talk as part of the Halt die Fresse series by Aggro.TV . In addition, a video for the track Alone Against All was released .

The album received mostly negative reviews. Oliver Pannke from rap.de gave an average rating of five out of ten possible stars, EstAtainment would be “not a good, consistent rap album” despite being in the chart. EstA must “concentrate on its strengths”, which are “far removed from the pop sound”. Dani Fromm from laut.de rated the album with two out of five possible stars, EstA would have "no talent" for songwriting . An author from jds-rap-blog.de gave a very negative review with one out of five stars, stating that the album was “not far away” from a “near-death experience”.
“Esta doesn't manage to deliver what he can with his album and above all to show what has made him so far. Such singing hooks or measly parts in the VBT and him would be known to fewer people than the preliminary round opponents of the Battlebois . "
