reception

criticism

The hip-hop magazine Rap4Fame rated the mixtape four out of five crowns. Almost all tracks on the sound carrier were described as worth listening to in the review, only the titles Sieh mich an (remix) and Ugly Girl were disappointing. In addition, Nyze's guest contribution is not convincing. Otherwise the street album was described very positively.

The Internet platform HipHop-Jam.net awarded Search & Destroy 3.5 of a maximum of 5 mics. The beats and their harmony with Chakuza received positive praise. “The beats range from the finest instrumental sounds to electro-heavy beats. It's safe to say that the beats and raps of the two harmonize very well. And exactly these 2 things are also the strength of the CD: The harmony and adaptation of the two, and the beats themselves, which fill an uncanny breadth. ”On the other hand, the monotony of Chakuza's way of speaking and the sometimes weak lyrics were criticized. Overall, the LP was described as “acceptable to well audible”.

Chart success

Search & Destroy ranked 50th on the German album charts in the first week of sales . It then stayed in the top 100 for three weeks before leaving the charts again. This success marked Chakuza's first placement in the charts as a solo artist.
