marketing

To Search & Destroy II no video was released. However, as part of the web series Shut Up , Chakuza presented the exclusive Freetrack Shut Up . Bizzy Montana was also shown in the video. This was later offered in a newly mixed version for free download. Another freetrack was previously published on hiphop.de . Together with David Asphalt, Chakuza recorded the song Hiphop.de Exklusiv 2010 . In addition, the exclusive One Day was broadcast over 16 bars .

criticism

The online magazine rappers.in rated the mixtape with four out of six microphones. The beats ( the blaring beats that make for a real battlefield ) were particularly praised. Thematically, however, the album moves on a battle-mad or on a "The-world-can-me-times" -depressive mood . On the other hand, points were criticized that seem too experimental or even artificial and that the corresponding songs are so overloaded that the overall production of each individual title appears slightly vague . On the other hand, the guest contributions were divided. While Bizzy Montana and Vega would convince, the featurings by David Asphalt and Jack Untawega are mistakes. In summary, Search & Destroy was similar to the previous publication Chakuzas, but more experimental. According to the review, however, these experiments are not well thought out and occur too often.

The rap platform rap.de described the sound carrier as a completely carefree and free CD. The beats in particular, which range between the genres of hip-hop , reggae , rock and electro and are striking, colorful and remarkable , differ markedly from the artist's previous albums. The highlight of the album was the title Robocop dances with Bizzy Montana.

The music magazine laut.de awarded Search & Destroy II three out of five stars and particularly praised the masterful beats . In addition to the typical productions in which grumpy swirling bass reigns and strings shimmer threateningly , there are also atypical hip-hop beats such as Nanana , In Direction All , Robocop tanzt , Hellboy or Monster (remix) .
