Konshens (born January 11, 1985 in Kingston , Jamaica as Garfield Spence ) is a Jamaican reggae artist from Kingston.

biography

Together with his older brother Delus, he has formed the Sojah Duo since 2005 . Sojah released their debut album Sons of Jah in 2008 on the Japanese music label P-Vine Japan. In 2009 the Sojah album Modern Revolution was released on the Austrian label Irievibrations Records . In the same year Sojah performed at Chiemsee Reggae Summer and Ruhr Reggae Summer .

He gained further fame in Germany as a feature guest of the Viennese rapper Raf Camora ( Go , Bad like we , Luxus ), Nazar ( Nazarfakker Pt. 2 ) and Chakuza ( Monster ).

In 2010 his first solo album Real Talk was released . The dancehall song winner contained on it reached first place in the Jamaican single charts. In 2012 a second album, Mental Maintenance , was released on VP Records .
