Mac Tyer
Mac Tyer (born April 23, 1979 in Aubervilliers ; real name Socrate Petnga ) is a French rapper of Cameroonian descent.
biography
As a teenager, Mac Tyer founded the group Tandem with Mac Kregor . Together the duo released the EP Ceux qui savent m'écoutent in 2001 . This increased the level of awareness of the two rappers in the French underground , which led to multiple feature and sampler contributions. During this time, the recordings for the second tandem tape Tandematique Modèle Vol. 1 took place, which again was very successful. Tandem's debut album was released a year later under the title C'est toujours pour ceux qui savent . In addition, the successful single 93 Hardcore was released.
Since Mac Tyer was also active as a producer , he released the producer collaboration album Patrimoine du ghetto with Jo le Balafré in the same year , on which, in addition to Mac Tyer, Booba , Wallen , Nessbeal , Kery James and Akhenaton are represented. Through this CD, in particular the single release of the album title Patrimoine du ghetto , a title by Mac Tyer and Kery James, as well as further contributions to the sampler and a feature on Booba's album Ouest Side , Mac Tyer became known throughout France.
He signed as a solo artist with the major label "Because", where he also released his debut album Le général . His second solo album was released on November 1, 2008 and is entitled D'ou je viens . He made a name for himself in Germany through collaborations with German rappers on “Ghetto Boyz” with Chakuza on Juice CD # 95 in March 2009 and through the song Politik with Olli Banjo on the sampler La Connexion . At the beginning of 2010 he founded the formation "Xplosif Click" together with the Aubervilliers rappers Alien, Bigou, Sahra, Sheck, T-Rel and Ghettoven Artists. With this he published the mixtape Le dernier Gang a few months later .
On September 27, 2010 Tyler released his fourth solo album Hat-Trick on the Because Music label . This was followed by the mixtapes Banger # 1 (2013) and Banger II (2014) and the studio album Je suis une légende (2015).
