Akhenaton
Akhenaton (born September 17, 1968 in Marseille ) is a French rapper from Marseille. He is a member of IAM , but has also released solo albums. His real name is Philippe Fragione . It is also known as AKH, Chill, Sentenza or Specter.
biography
Akhenaton was born on September 17, 1968 in Marseille and grew up in a suburb of the city. After discovering hip hop in the 1980s , he flew to New York more often. At this time he also met Éric Mazel, who later became the DJ of IAM under the pseudonym Khéops. In 1988 he met Geoffroy Mussard (Shurik'n) and Malek Brahimi (Freeman), with whom he founded IAM.
After three successful albums from IAM, Akhenaton recorded his first solo album in 1995. This has been sold about 300,000 times.
