Separate
Separate (bourgeois Sebastian Faisst ) is a German rapper from Mainz and co-founder of the Buckwheats Music label .
biography
Inspired by Tupac Shakur , Sebastian Faisst began under the pseudonym Separate to take part in various freestyle battles with the ChillatWill formation in Wiesbaden and in 2000 released the freestyle tape Whatever you say .
After he Kool Savas following a concert in Wiesbaden a demo tape had given, carried an invitation from this to Berlin. After various recordings with Savas, as well as contact with the independent label Royal Bunker , the release of separate debut album ÜberlegDirWasDuSagst about Royal Bunker followed in 2003 .
Due to differences with the organizer of Royal Bunker, Marcus Staiger , Separate separated from his label. Speculation that Separate would switch to Kool Savas' Optik Records label was ended with the founding of Buckwheats Music , which Separate founded with a long-time friend.
In 2004 he met rappers Abroo and Casper at a jam , with whom he founded the formation Kinder Des Zorns . In mid-September 2004, the joint album Rap Art War was released via Buckwheats . After Casper left the formation, the group split shortly after the album was released.
In 2005 the second solo album was released with Payday , on which u. a. the American rapper Cormega had a guest post. The release of the single Germany's Hustler followed shortly after the album. 2005 was also represented separately with two features on Prince Porn's album Time is Money . The following year Bourbon appeared with Abdel, a mixtape ( The Hunt for the King ), and the joint album with Vega ( German Problems ).
In July 2007, his third solo album, A Good Day to Die , was released, on which it was indicated that it would be his last. Separate, however, left it open in various interviews with online magazines, as well as the print press, whether it would actually be his last album.
In November 2009, the Hamburg producer Monroe released the album Movement , which includes several tracks on which Separate can be heard.
In the late summer of 2013 his fourth solo album El Mariachi with features a. a. by Overdoze, Eko Fresh , Lakman , Abroo , and other artists.
On January 5, 2015, in preparation for the upcoming album "Truth" (January 16, 2015), the free EP "Path to Truth" with eight tracks came online.
