Laura Carbone (born September 24, 1986 in Sinsheim ) is a German - Italian singer and songwriter .

Biography and musical career

Laura Carbone studied business administration (BWL) and graduated in 2008. She began her musical career as the singer of the NDW - punk band Deine Jugend , founded in Mannheim in 2008 , with whom she and her bandmate, songwriter and producer Tim Bonassis (Tim Eiermann from Liquido ) wrote the EP Deine Maske and her first album in the same year We are your youth released.
The album Serotonin followed in 2013 .

In 2014 Laura Carbone released her first solo EP and single Stigmatized , whose sound has been compared with artists such as PJ Harvey and The Breeders . On January 27, 2015, Laura Carbone's first solo album Sirens was released on Duchess Box Records, which was funded by crowdfunding . In March 2016 she performed at South by Southwest in Austin , Texas . In July 2016 she was on stage at the Amphi Festival in Cologne.
