The PANTALEON Films GmbH is a German film production company based in Munich , by Matthias Schweighofer was founded. The company, which has branches in Berlin and Cologne, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of PANTAFLIX AG .

In 2011, the film production company launched What a Man . In 2013 the end maker and Markus Goller's wife Ella followed . In 2014, Schweighöfer's third in-house production, Vaterfreuden, was the production company's fourth film. Schweighöfer's fourth in-house production The Nanny was released on March 26, 2015 .

The marketing of soundtracks has been carried out in the sister company PantaSounds GmbH since July 2016 .
