After a total power failure in Berlin, Lukas Franke is the victim of a hacker attack. Unordered electronics are delivered to him, secret video recordings of his son Leon and countless pages of the terrorist group "Antipode" appear on his laptop, and he is added to their chat group via smartphone. His brother Thomas, with whom he had no contact for several years, referred Lukas, who was looking for advice, to the hacktivist Dalton. Lukas suspects a man who introduced himself to him as Jens Kaufmann during the power failure. But he learns that the real Jens Kaufmann committed suicide four weeks ago. Before he called in the police, they had already searched his apartment, as he is suspected of being the cause of the power failure and a terrorist due to his online activities.

His wife Hanna, who is designing a new video game for her new client Marc Wessling, begins to doubt her husband, because on the one hand she unexpectedly receives a drug for psychosis prescribed for her husband in the pharmacy and on the other hand Julia reveals herself to her as Lukas' liaison. Lukas steals a video recording from a shop that shows the package being handed over to Leon. Using facial recognition software, Dalton uses this recording to find out that the supposed Jens Kaufmann is actually called Frank Jeryczek. When Lukas visits him, Frank explains his motive to him. He wants to show the world how hacking can be used to rewrite a person's entire life. Frank wants to clear everything up with a video message, but he is shot in front of Lukas' eyes. Hanna's doubts are further nourished because Lukas admits his one-night stand with Julia and she learns from his electronic medical record that he has been treated for a psychosis for years. The investigating policewoman Sandra Jansen suspects a leak in her department, as the press unwittingly reported about the manhunt against Lukas.

The only clue about the code is the number 1.8 × 10 10 . Meanwhile, the evidence suggests that the police officer Siebert is the leak.

But he keeps this to himself. Lena reveals to Lukas that Marc threatened to kill her brother Rollo if she didn't spy on Lukas for him. When Rollo visits Lena in her hiding place, his foster mother notifies the police, who track down Lena and Lukas. Lena is shot while trying to escape and Lukas is caught and transferred to the BND . Using the pretext of playing an agent, he puts an explosive belt on Leon. In the BND headquarters he wants to eliminate an NSA agent who is in his way. In the showdown, Lukas, Hanna and the police are able to stop Marc, who unconsciously that Hanna removed the explosive belt, blows himself up. Lukas does not tell the police that he found the code he was looking for. This is the access to the “Burning Man” program, through which every person on earth could be blackmailed. reception
Reviews
Adam Soboczynski von der Zeit criticizes the “somewhat thickly applied family sentimentality”, but the viewer still wants to “see the third and fourth episodes”, which is “rare enough with the current flood of series”.
Axel Schmitt from serienjunkies.de gave the first episode 2 out of 5 stars. The characters would correspond to “every common television cliché”, every “dramaturgical set piece” of the episode is known “from other formats” and the dialogue work is “simply a shame for others”. German is also part of the series "only the penetrant product placement ". Ultimately, the format is "a product like Krombacher, Mercedes and Nutella - but not a good series."
TV feature film finds "even if the rapid production is sometimes reflected in small logic holes and a certain set-like nature", the series is "overall very exciting", which is "the most important quality for a thriller plot".
