Thomas Schmauser (born November 30, 1972 in Burgebrach ) is a German actor .

Life

Schmauser grew up in Upper Franconia and, after graduating from secondary school, first completed an apprenticeship at the Sparkasse; he then worked in the real estate department until he quit and applied for an acting education. He then studied from 1992 to 1996 at the Otto Falkenberg School and was already seen at this time in the Kammerspiele Munich, where he, among others, in Katzelmacher of Rainer Werner Fassbinder play along. After his training, Schmauser had engagements at the Lower Saxony State Theater in Hanover and the Thalia Theater in Hamburg.

He has been a member of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble since 2007 , where he staged DU MEIN TOD for the first time in 2012, a true story, retold by Thomas Schmauser .
