Thalheim Church (Canton Aargau)
The church Thalheim is a Reformed Church in Canton Aargau Thalheim in Switzerland . It is located on the southern edge of the village in a slightly elevated position.
history
Parts of today's ship walls come from the Romanesque predecessor of the church, which was dedicated to St. Peter was consecrated. It was structurally changed in the 14th and 15th centuries. In 1543 the church was expanded and renewed. The baptismal font, which was built in 1675 by Samuel Thormann, Bernese Obervogt zu Schenkenberg , and his wife Margarete, b. Archer was donated. The church was renovated around 1960 and a new church tower (roof turret) was added. Today the church appears as a simple, single-nave building with a rectangular choir, arched windows, a tiled gable roof and a turret with a pointed spire. The church has an ossuary that is not open to the public. The church is located in the Oberdorf part of the village in the middle of the cemetery .
