The Reformed Church Niederlenz is the Reformed Church in the Aargau municipality of Niederlenz in Switzerland . It was inaugurated in 1949.

history

Since 1602 Niederlenz belonged to the parish of Staufberg, where the Reformed had their church . From 1936, the aim was to build their own church and founded a church community association. The building decision was made at the parish assembly on the Staufberg on June 22, 1947. The bell lifted on July 3, 1949 and the inauguration of the same year on October 9. Kurt Marti was elected the first pastor in Niederlenz in March 1952 . On January 1, 1990, the Niederlenz parish became independent.

Buildings and equipment

The church stands east of the main road Lenzburg - Wildegg a little higher above the village center. Its wooden ceiling, decorated with ornaments, was inspired by Reinach architect Hans Hauri and executed by the artist Regula Eichenberger. The two round windows of the church were designed by the Beinwil artist Paul Eichenberger. Another five colored church windows donated by the residents of Niederlenz were designed by the Brittnau artist Karl-Heinz Bürger. The baptismal font created in 1999 by Boris Mlosch is also a gift from the local residents. The organ, inaugurated in 1954, has two manuals and a total of 1,212 pipes. The chimes of the church consist of four bells, which are tuned in A-flat, F, Eb and D-flat.
