history
The majority of the Reformed Christians from Villmergen belong to the parish of Wohlen. The Villmergen community association was founded as early as 1957 and the donation of a piece of land made the plans for the construction of a church center concrete. After the parish assembly had approved the building project, the building was completed and inaugurated in 1965. The church interior is adorned with a wooden cross and two glass windows. The latter were designed by the artist Werner Sommer. In 1975 a bell tower was built next to the church. In 1989 the church was renovated. In June 2013 the parish of Wohlen launched an ideas competition for the conversion of the building.
