The church Bergdietikon is the Reformed village church in the town of Bergdietikon in the Swiss canton of Aargau . The construction of the church began in 1960 and the church was consecrated in 1961.

history

The Reformed Christians of Bergdietikon belonged to the Zurich parish Dietikon- Urdorf until 1940 . The reformed parish of Spreitenbach was then founded by resolution of the Aargau Grand Council , which consisted of the parishes of Spreitenbach-Killwangen and Bergdietikon. Bergdietikon has been an independent parish since 1984.

Church building

The building was built by the architect Zschokke and consists of a church room in the shape of a tent and a free-standing church tower. There are four bells in the tower that are named after the four evangelists. In the church there are stained glass windows by a Spreitenbach artist. The organ was built by the Metzler Orgelbau company from Dietikon. The last renovation took place in 1985.
