Reformed Church Möhlin

The Reformed Church Möhlin is the Reformed church in the municipality of Möhlin in Aargau . It was inaugurated in 1948.

history

The Fricktal, to which Möhlin belongs, is traditionally Catholic. Reformed Christians only came to Möhlin through immigration from the second half of the 19th century, whose Catholic population split off from the Roman Catholic Church in December 1872 and co-founded the Christian Catholic Church in Switzerland. The number of Reformed immigrants increased and in 1926 a Reformed church choir was founded. An independent parish was founded in 1964. A separate church was built in 1948 on the Wildenrain.
