Mutschellen Church

The Mutschellen church is a reformed church on the Mutschellen and is located on the parish of Widen in the Swiss canton of Aargau . It belongs to the Reformed parish of Bremgarten-Mutschellen.

history

The parish had a church in Bremgarten since 1900 . Due to the population growth of the communities on Mutschellen, the proportion of Reformed people in the originally Catholic Freiamt grew and with it the desire for a Reformed church on Mutschellen. The first talks took place in 1962 and after the founding of the church building association, a building fund was raised, to which the Zurich church council awarded 30,000 francs and the Aargau church council awarded 20,000 francs. In 1966, the construction of the church began according to plans by the architect Benedikt Huber , and in 1968 it was inaugurated.
