The Reformed Church of Buchs is the Reformed Church in the Aargau municipality of Buchs in Switzerland . The construction of the church began in 1949 and the church was consecrated the following year. It belongs to the reformed parish of Buchs-Rohr.

history

The Reformed Christians of the parishes of Buchs and Rohr (today a district of Aarau ) initially belonged to the parish of Suhr and became independent in 1946. Construction of the church began just three years later. It was created in the contemporary style of the 1950s.

Sibylle Ehrismann has been the organist of the Reformed Parish of Buchs-Rohr since 2011 .

Furnishing

In the church there are two organs, a small pipe organ in the choir and a large one, built in 1951 by Metzler Orgelbau , on the gallery. The church's glass windows were designed in 1970 by the Aargau artist Felix Hoffmann .

The five church bells were cast by the Rüetschi bell foundry in Aarau and are tuned to the tones c, es, f, g and b.
