history
Up until the end of the 19th century, the three villages belonging to the parish were in an almost closed Catholic area. Only with the onset of industrialization in the Lower Aare Valley did Reformed people also find their way here. In 1912, 45 Reformed families founded the Döttingen-Klingnau church cooperative, which was looked after by the Tegerfelden parish . In 1932 the church cooperative bought building land on which a church was to be built. The church was built in 1934/35 and the church was consecrated on September 29, 1935. The church tower, in which four bells now hang, was added in 1962.
