Reformed Church Laufenburg
The Reformed Church Laufenburg is the Reformed Church in the Aargau community of Laufenburg in Switzerland . It was inaugurated in 1959 and belongs to the Reformed parish of Laufenburg and the surrounding area.
history
The Fricktal , to which Laufenburg belongs, is traditionally Catholic. It was not until 1843 that the first Reformed came to Laufenburg. These were initially looked after by the Protestant pastor of the sister city in Baden . Due to the immigration of other Reformed Christians in the second half of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, the Reformed Church Cooperative Laufenburg and the surrounding area was founded in 1917. After 1922, Reformed services could be celebrated in the city's courthouse. Over the years, the desire for a separate church grew, the construction of which began in 1958. The inauguration took place on July 5, 1959. The church tower is equipped with four bells.
