Reformed Church Rohr
The Reformed Church Rohr is the Reformed church in the Rohr district of the Aarau canton capital, Aarau . It was built in 1959 and belongs to the reformed parish of Buchs- Rohr.
history
The Reformed Christians von Buchs and Rohr initially belonged to the Suhr parish and became independent in 1946. Just three years later a church was built in Buchs and another ten years later that in Rohr. It was created in a modern and contemporary style.
Sibylle Ehrismann has been the organist of the Reformed Parish of Buchs-Rohr since 2011 .
Furnishing
There is an organ in the church that was built in 1963 by the Metzler Orgelbau company . The church's glass windows were designed in 1987 by the Brittnau artist Karlheinz Bürger.
The four church bells are tuned to tones d, f, g and b and were cast in 1960 by H. Rüetschi AG in Aarau.
