Arena One is a German catering and hospitality service provider with a focus on stadiums, major sporting and cultural events and employee restaurants based in Munich .

history

The company's roots go back to 1972. On the occasion of the Olympic Games in Munich, Arena One was founded for VIP and public catering in the Munich Olympic Park, at that time still under the name "Haberl Gastronomie". In 2006 the company merged with Arena One, a subsidiary of E.ON Facility Management, which had been responsible for catering and hospitality in the Allianz Arena Munich since 2005. Arena One took over the catering activities of Haberl Gastronomie and has been the exclusive hospitality and catering partner of the Olympiapark and the Allianz Arena since then.

The service portfolio of Arena One also includes hospitality and catering services for temporary major sporting and cultural events, corporate events, gala and state receptions. The BMW International Open, Spengler Cup Davos or the xgames Munich can be named as references. The company gained international renown through its involvement in the 2006 soccer World Cup in Germany and 2010 in South Africa. Arena One looked after a total of six stadiums during the 2006 World Cup and three stadiums at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. In South Africa, the company initiated a new CSR project. Unconsumed meals were passed on to residents in need under food law requirements. Arena One also supported the Johannes Project Village Sae Heaven in 2010.

In addition to sports and culture-related activities, Arena One looks after E.ON company restaurants and conference centers across Germany. The service portfolio includes exclusive lunch, daily and snacks as well as conference management and services.

Arena One also operates Restaurant 181, the revolving restaurant in the Olympic Tower in Munich.

In the course of concentrating on its core business, the energy group E.ON sold Arena One to the Austrian catering company DO&CO at the beginning of 2014 .
