Hessian television award
The Hessian Television Prize has been awarded annually since 2003 by the Hessischer Rundfunk in cooperation with the Hessian Film Fund. The award is announced in the categories “Best Actress” and “Best Actor”. The award will be announced and presented at the award ceremony of the Hessian Film and Cinema Prize .
The Hessian TV Prize is generally awarded to actors who come from Hesse, live in Hesse or have worked in a Hessian production. In exceptional cases, an ensemble can also be awarded. In addition to the certificate, the winners receive a statue in the form of the stylized Main Tower . A jury appointed by the Hessischer Rundfunk will decide on the awarding of the prizes.
