Rudolf Kowalski (born September 8, 1948 in Gladbeck ) is a German actor .

Life

After completing his acting training, Rudolf Kowalski had various permanent engagements, including at the Nationaltheater Mannheim , the State Theater Stuttgart , the Schauspielhaus Cologne , the Schauspiel Bonn and other theaters . His work as an actor at the theater was accompanied by his own productions of various plays at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, at the Württemberg State Theater Esslingen , at the Theater im Westen in Stuttgart and at other stages. He was also part of the speaking ensemble of Südwestrundfunk for a time .

After that, Kowalski turned increasingly to film and television . He has appeared in sketches of the television series Loriot on u. a. in Christmas at Hoppenstedts as a vacuum cleaner representative for Heinzelmann. He also played leading roles in television films and was seen in the crime series Bella Block and Tatort . He also appeared in films such as Der Campus , Die 3 Posträuber , Maria von Einar Heimisson and the comedy Echte Kerle . In 2006 he was seen in the children's film Pik & Amadeus - Friends Against Will and in the episode Night Shift - Death in the Supermarket of the ZDF Night Shift TV series. Until 2013 he played the title role in the ZDF crime series Stolberg , the plot of which is set in Düsseldorf . Since 2014 he has played the psychotherapist Dr. in the ZDF crime series SOKO Leipzig. Breugel.

Kowalski has been married to actress Eva Scheurer since 1990 and lives with her in Sankt Augustin . They have a daughter together. From 2009 to 2013, the couple played together with Inspector Stolberg, with Eva Scheurer playing the role of forensic doctor Dr. Hannah Vosskort took over.
