Wolfgang F. Henschel (born February 1, 1943 in Elsenau (Joachimsthal) , Brandenburg ) is a German director and screenwriter . He was best known for the television series Der Bulle von Tölz and Pastor Braun .

Life

Henschel grew up in Baden and moved to Munich in 1961. 1966 dramaturge in television production, from 1967 freelance director. In addition to scripts and theater productions, director of over 300 television films in a wide variety of program categories.

In the documentary sector, a film about the title dealer Consul Weyer, but also historical subjects such as The Third Walpurgis Night about the time of Hitler's seizure of power. In the series area, he shot the family series Von Liebe keine Rede in 1971, script and direction of the science fiction series alpha alpha in 1972, and Typisch Auntchen in Italy in 1973 .
