action

The building contractor Martin Grieser fell on his competitor Anton Rambold's jaguar while skydiving and died immediately. The parachute did not open, apparently it was manipulated. Shortly afterwards, Peter Waiblinger, Grieser's caretaker, blows up when entering a hut belonging to the flying club. All the gas taps were turned on, so there is no accident here either. The commissioners Benno Berghammer and Sabrina Lorenz agree that the two murders are related. They find out that Grieser's widow Sonja, who dedicates her life to charity, also has a relationship with the flying instructor Berthold Zauchner, who flew Grieser to his last jump. Ms. Grieser says that her husband knew about her love affair with Zauchner, but that she has just ended the relationship.

The self-proclaimed witch Anna Krams and her grandson Joey are also among the suspects because Martin Grieser wanted to drive them out of their little house in order to be able to build another road to the sports airport. Anna Krams has cursed Grieser according to her own statements, which is confirmed by a charred cross and a dead cock in the ruins of the exploded hut. There is an arrest warrant against Joey from Hamburg because he left five injured guests and property damage of 2000 euros in the crack . He claims to have watched Peter Waiblinger enter the hut. Because of the closed shutters it was pitch black, but Waiblinger did not turn on the lights. After 10 to 20 seconds, everything was blown up. For the inspectors, there is only one explanation why Peter Waiblinger did not turn on the light: He knew that the hut was full of gas because he turned it on himself to transport his boss into the afterlife. But because he changed plans at short notice, Waiblinger manipulated the parachute and had to turn off the gas. The old, nailed boots finally became his undoing because they sparked sparks on the stone floor. The perpetrator is now certain, but not his motive.

Marianne Waiblinger, the caretaker's widow, is about to go blind from an eye disease. An expensive operation in America could save their eyesight, but they don't have the money. Martin Grieser had refused to take on the high costs, but now Sonja is loosing up the necessary funds. However, she does not want Ms. Waiblinger to hang it up.

Benno Berghammer learns from Grieser's housekeeper Jennifer that her boss was not ready to support Mrs. Waiblinger either before her husband's death. For the inspectors, it looks like Ms. Waiblinger has something against Ms. Grieser, which she is using to blackmail her.

Marianne Waiblinger learns that she should get 250,000 euros from her husband's life insurance and wants to return the donation. She tells Sonja Grieser that the police suspect Peter, but he was such a good person. When Ms. Grieser confirms this and finally even admits that she instigated this act, which in her opinion was godly, Ms. Waiblinger is furious and wants to go to the police, but Ms. Grieser knocks her unconscious and drags her into the bathroom to shut her up drown.

In the meantime, the commissioners have learned from the town builder that the financing of the new home for the handicapped was on shaky ground because Martin Grieser had discovered his wife's relationship with her flight instructor and therefore wanted to turn off the money. So the motive for the investigators is obvious. You rush to Sonja Grieser and can save Marianne Waiblinger from drowning in time. When Benno Berghammer arrested Frau Grieser, she only said that the police probably didn't know what she was doing; they do not believe that the handicapped and needy in the district could do without the active help of people like them. Commissioner Lorenz only says that she will get a wonderful cell with a south-facing window.
