Wilfried Labmeier

Wilfried Labmeier (born August 27, 1953 in Munich ; † May 23, 2010 ) was a German actor .

Life

Born in Munich, Labmeier completed his acting training at the Reinhardt Seminar in Berlin . As a stage actor he got engagements in Munich ( Volkstheater ), Hamburg ( Thalia Theater ), Frankfurt ( Städtische Bühnen ) and Cologne ( Schauspielhaus ). On the theater stage he embodied a. a. the title roles in Carl Sternheim's Bürger Schippel and Heiner Müller's Philoctet , Thisbe in William Shakespeare's Midsummer Night 's Dream , the bridegroom in Bert Brecht's petty bourgeois wedding and Casimir in Ödön von Horváth's Casimir and Karoline .

In addition, Labmeier also took on numerous roles in film and television. Directed by Joseph Vilsmaier , he starred in the drama And nobody cries after Sigi Sommer , directed by Dominik Graf in the drama Your best years and in the thriller The Scorpio . He was also in the teen comedy Girls, Girls 2 - Loft or Love , in the drama Die Wittelsbacher and in various films in the Tatort and Polizeiruf 110 series. He also played guest roles in numerous television series such as Aus heiterem Himmel , Rußige Zeiten , Der Bulle von Tölz , Die Rosenheim-Cops , SOKO 5113 , Der Alte and Café Perjury .

He became known to a wide audience through his role as the simple-minded farmer Hubert Gassner , whom he played between 2002 and 2010 in the ZDF series Forsthaus Falkenau .

Wilfried Labmeier died at the age of 56 on Pentecost Sunday 2010 and was buried in the Munich forest cemetery.
