Jannik Inselkammer

Jannik Inselkammer (born October 25, 1968 , † March 24, 2014 in Revelstoke , British Columbia , Canada ) was a German entrepreneur and co-owner of Augustiner-Bräu in Munich .

biography

His father was the Munich brewer Hans Inselkammer, a cousin of Franz Inselkammer , the owner of the Aying brewery , and of Peter Inselkammer , the landlord of the Platzl restaurant in Munich.

Inselkammer studied economics and received her doctorate in 1999 from the University of Siegen with a thesis on distribution management in the US brewing industry. In 1996, Jannik Inselkammer acquired a 77% majority stake in Hasen-Bräu . Inselkammer was managing director of the family-owned breweries Tucher Bräu from 1997 to 2003 and from 1997 also of Lederer Bräu , both in Nuremberg .

Inselkammer was personally liable managing partner of Augustiner-Bräu . He held 35% of the shares directly through the family; The Edith Haberland Wagner Foundation holds 51% .

Inselkammer was the managing director of other companies such as Inka AG for investments in Munich and CS Metallbau in Burkau . He was the 2nd chairman of the Munich Breweries Association. V. and on the advisory board of the Bavarian Brewers' Association .

On March 24, 2014, Jannik Inselkammer died while heli-skiing in the Selkirk Mountains in Revelstoke, Canada, after being buried in an avalanche. The funeral service took place five days later in Munich's St. Michaels Church .
