Konrad Adams

Konrad Adams (born September 24, 1958 ) is a German actor and director .

Life

After graduating from high school, Konrad Adams began studying theater, film and television studies in Cologne . But it was his childhood dream to become an actor. Parallel to his studies he pursued this goal and so - while he was working as an assistant director - his acting talent was discovered by Irmgard Först and the artistic director Gert Omar Leutner. In 1983 he made his debut at the Rheinisches Landestheater in Neuss as Cleante in " Der Geizige " by Molière . The stage partners of the early years were his most important teachers. At the side of Klaus Havenstein (he also brought him to his castle festival in Bad Vilbel ), Hans Putz , Wolfgang Wahl and Angèle Durand he had his first successes. Further stations were the Stadttheater Landshut and Annaberg-Buchholz , the Theater im Westen ( Stuttgart ), “ Die kleine Freiheit ” ( Munich ) and the touring theater “die szene” (Munich). Since 2010 he has been working as a freelance actor and director.

He was entrusted with his first major roles on TV in "TVKaiser" and "Höllische Nachbarn". In addition to various other missions, since 1999 he has played Hubert in over fifty episodes of " Hausmeister Krause ". He could be seen as Dr Schelling in Marienhof from 2010 until the end of the series .

In 2019 he took over the artistic direction of the "Glass House Games" on the island of Reichenau.
