Maximilian Krückl

Maximilian "Max" Krückl (born August 21, 1966 in Munich ; † June 22, 2019 ) was a German actor , screenwriter and cabaret artist .

Career

Krückl's career began in 1979 at the age of twelve with a leading role in the television series Familie Meier by Franz Xaver Bogner . In the series, Krückl played the son of Karl Obermayr , who then introduced him to Ruth Drexel , who at the time co-initiated the Munich Volkstheater .

Through Ruth Drexel, among others, numerous engagements followed at the Munich Volkstheater as well as in Telfs in Tyrol and in Darmstadt . In Munich, Krückl directed the Theater im Fraunhofer and the Sissi Festival.

After the Meier family , he became better known through the series Wildbach (1992–1996); here he achieved great popularity as the petrol station operator Alois Angerer. Numerous leading roles in series followed, such as the figure of Pastor Friedl in Wilder Kaiser , as pathologist Dr. Happy in SOKO 5113 and 2003 in Körner und Köter . From 2004 he was seen in the series Zwei am Großer See alongside Ruth Drexel and Uschi Glas . After he had a small guest role in the ZDF television series Forsthaus Falkenau for the first time in 1995 , he played the role of Pastor Ambros in 22 episodes there from 2007 onwards.

Screenwriter

In addition, Maximilian Krückl was successful as a screenwriter. Among other things, he wrote the script for the series Alarm in the Mountains and for Agathe can not stop (episodes Murder in the monastery and all or nothing ), in which he also played the role of Chief Inspector Krefeld.

Life

Krückl was married and the father of two daughters. He owned a pension in the Starnberg district of Percha and was a co-founder of the non-profit associations Goodact in Pullach and Mysisteract in Starnberg. Maximilian Krückl died of sudden cardiac death in June 2019 at the age of 52 ; out of consideration for his family, however, his death was not made public until mid-July.

Awards

Maximilian Krückl was awarded the Theater Prize of the Akademie der Künste Berlin in 1983 for his acting achievements , and in 1997 he received the German Short Film Prize as well as the Filmband in Silver for his outstanding performance in the short cinema film MS Murderer .
