Film tape in silver
The film strip in silver was up to 1998 external signs of honor at the ceremony of the German Film Prize . The award is part of the federal government's film funding. There were film tapes in silver just like the film tapes in gold in different categories.
Since 1999, instead of the film tape, a statuette named Lola has been awarded, also in silver for the "second best" film (until 2007 also for the third-place film, since 2008 there has been a bronze Lola for this).
