Agathe can't stop is a series broadcast by ARD and ORF for the first time in October and November 2005 , in which Ruth Drexel played a lady based on Agatha Christie's Miss Marple . The title of the series comes from Heinz Rühmann 's film He can't stop . The series was discontinued after the death of Ruth Drexel.

The main character Agathe Heiland solves cases in the small fictional town of Mooskirch and the surrounding area (the district town of Dachau is often used as the filming location ) with her clumsy friend and helper Cornelius Stingermann ( Hans Peter Korff ) in which the chief inspector Krefeld ( Maximilian Krückl , also screenwriter of the Series) fails.
