Otto Martin Schwarz

Otto Martin Schwarz (born October 15, 1967 in Neunkirchen, Lower Austria ) is an Austrian composer and conductor specializing in film music and symphonic wind music .

Life

Schwarz spent his childhood in Wimpassing . From 1986 to 1990 he studied music education at the Vienna University of Music. His teachers included Josef Pomberger ( trumpet ) and Heinz Kratochwil ( composition ). Between 1986 and 1987 he was a member of the Burgenland Military Music . From 1988 Otto Schwarz taught at the Wimpassing Music School and has been leading the local youth band since 1990.

Schwarz's earlier compositions include the premiere March for wind orchestra in 1992. Numerous other publications for wind orchestra followed, including arrangements of popular works and original compositions for symphonic wind orchestra. Since 2001 he has been composing music for television series and films.
