Heinz Kratochwil
Heinz Kratochwil (born February 23, 1933 in Vienna ; † April 2, 1995 there ) was an Austrian composer.
Short biography
Heinz Kratochwil taught at the Vienna Music Academy from 1962 , and from 1980 he was professor of composition .
In his compositions he used elements of late romanticism, impressionism, dodecaphony , jazz and the avant-garde. Heinz Kratochwil is the father of the composer, musician and partner in interdisciplinary projects Martin Kratochwil and was buried at the Mauer cemetery (group 49, row 7, number 3).
