The legacy of Junkersdorf

A Sign of God is a German TV film by Wolfgang F. Henschel from 2007 . It is the tenth episode of the ARD crime film series Pfarrer Braun with Ottfried Fischer in the title role.

action

Brown is shifted a number of times. This time the bishop and especially Mühlich put a particularly difficult chunk in front of the clergyman. When Braun in the small town of Kursdorf cannot compete with the Catholic doctrine against a local miracle phenomenon, he decides to investigate the matter. Bishop Hemmelrath also sees the "miracle" as an opportunity to get a promotion to Rome with an appreciative report about it. Braun, however, reveals the supposed “miracle” as a hoax and Hemmelrath is embarrassed in front of the Vatican .

The critics of the TV magazine TV Spielfilm gave the film the worst rating, showing them thumbs down. They stated: "More Komödienstadl than smirking thriller."
