Jessica Kosmalla

Jessica Kosmalla (born March 31, 1961 in Bremerhaven ) is a German actress .

Life

In addition to her acting studies at the Mozarteum , which she graduated with a diploma in 1983, Jessica Kosmalla also completed classical ballet training. Her stage career included the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof in Munich, the Ludwigshafener Pfalzbau , the Junge Theater Bremen , the Altonaer Theater and various touring stages. Kosmalla is a frequent guest at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Hamburg , among many other roles she was seen there in Hauptmann von Köpenick by Carl Zuckmayer , in Die Physiker by Friedrich Dürrenmatt or Eugène Ionesco's Die Nashörner , each directed by Wolf-Dietrich Sprenger . In 2015 she impressed as Auguste van Pels in Yves Jansen's production of Anne based on Anne Frank's diary in a version by Leon de Winter and Jessica Durlacher .

Jessica Kosmalla has also worked extensively in front of the camera since the mid-1980s. She was seen more often in various episodes of Der Alte and Derrick , and she also regularly takes on guest roles in well-known crime and family series. In 1991 she played the title role as Leporella in the film of the same name based on the novella by Stefan Zweig .

Jessica Kosmalla lives in Hamburg.
