With a heart and handcuffs is a German TV crime series . The pilot episode was first broadcast on October 28, 2002. The Sat.1 series comprises 22 episodes in three seasons, the last three episodes are produced as television films.
action
Leo Kraft is chief inspector at the Munich criminal police . At first he lived with his partner, the musician Thorsten, in a single family house. The relationship breaks up in the course of the series, his ex-boyfriend Bernd Fabrius later moves in with him again.
His colleague, Chief Inspector Nina Metz, is initially constantly looking for the right man. She later enters into a relationship with prosecutor Dr. Florian Gassner a.
Professionally, Leo and Nina are a good team and also clear up complicated cases. In each episode, in addition to the murder case to be solved, the private life of Kraft and Metz is discussed again and again.

3rd season
Season 3 consists of three episodes in a 90-minute feature-length film . The broadcast ended after the first episode on February 8, 2006 for an unknown reason. After the success of the Sat.1 series The Last Bull , starring Henning Baum , the remaining episodes were broadcast for the first time on July 14 and 21, 2010.
