Elena Uhlig (born July 31, 1975 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actress .

Life

Elena Uhlig grew up as the daughter of a German and a Greek in Düsseldorf. She studied acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and became known as Commissioner Nina Metz in the Sat.1 television series Mit Herz und Handschellen . In addition, she was seen in the Rosamunde Pilcher filming Sternschnuppen im August and in the Sat.1 feature film A Whole Guy for Mama . She made her cinema debut in 2001 in the German-Czech horror film Swimming Pool - Death celebrates with as Carmen. 2004 followed the role of Lilly in Everything on Sugar .

In addition to her acting career, she was co-managing director of a children's kitchen and an online shop for children's cooking accessories. In 2016 she published her first book My Weight and Me . In the same year she hosted the first season of the ZDF cooking show Stadt, Land, Lecker . She and her partner, the Austrian actor Fritz Karl , have two sons and two daughters (born in 2007, 2010 and 2015, 2018).
