Prashant Prabhakar
Prashant Prabhakar (born October 13, 1974 in India ; actually Prashant Jaiswal) is a German actor of Indian origin. He lives in Göttingen.
Life
Prashant Jaiswal grew up in a large family in India as the child of freedom fighters. In his early 20s he first came into contact with German culture and language through the Goethe Institute (known in India as Max Müller Bhavan).
After completing his studies in psychology and successfully learning the German language, he went to Germany. There he worked at the Expo in Hanover in 2000. So enthusiastic about his stay abroad, he decided to emigrate to Germany in 2002. There he began studying social sciences in Hanover . Inspired by his great role model Amitabh Bachchan , he cherished the desire to make a name for himself as an actor. He had already completed private acting training in India. Therefore, he devoted himself to acting until Prashant Jaiswal finally gave up his studies and concentrated entirely on acting. Since then he has appeared in over 90 German television , cinema and commercials .
Movie and TV
Prashant Prabhakar became known to a wider audience through his role as Prashant in the Pro7 series Stromberg . He was also a guest in the VOX telecast The perfect dinner . This was followed by various guest roles on Tatort as well as Alarm for Cobra11 (episode: Hooray for Bollywood; beautiful ideal world).
“Desert Flower” is the first movie in Prashant Jaiswal's career, which at the same time achieved great success in the box office. This was followed by roles in "Welcome to the Hartmanns" and "Men's hearts and the really, really big love".
Social Commitment
In 2014 Prashant Jaiswal took an active part in the Fontanherzen campaign in Osnabrück and collected donations. The organization works for children who are born with a heart defect. In addition, in 2020 Prashant Jaiswal actively raised awareness of racism and bullying in schools.
