Mia Westphal is the head of the lifestyle magazine "nana". She hopes to become editor-in-chief soon. Instead, you put her ex-boyfriend Edgar Schnell in front of her nose. Westphal has one last chance if she can deliver the better headline during the probationary period. When, while researching the newspaper, she finds a classified ad in which a man promises to pay a million euros to the woman who will marry him and give birth to children, she believes she has found the right story. As a feminist raised woman, she does not want to accept that women are reduced to commodities. Rather, she would now like to show the man incognito herself. Unfortunately, the allegedly rich Max Marko is not a millionaire at all. He is the journalist Stanislav Markowich, who in turn needs a story in order not to lose his job.

In the battle between the publishers and competing employees, there is some turbulence and amusing disagreement, but Stanislav manages to win Mia's heart with a marriage proposal, a valuable engagement ring and an extraordinary kiss. When the building of lies collapses, "nana" wins, makes Mia editor-in-chief and publishes the story, which is even followed by a bestseller book. Stanislav, however, is fired because of the embarrassment.

Mia later flies to India on vacation to forget her deep heartache and anger at Stanislav, but surprisingly she meets him on the plane. Although she freaks out, Stanislav manages to convince her of his real deep love for her with a repetition of the special kiss.

At least some of the genre-typical gags ignite. "
