Gert Schaefer (born October 17, 1955 in Göttingen , † August 20, 2014 in Hamburg ) was a German actor .

Life

Schaefer, son of actor couple Gert Karl Schaefer and Eva Brumby was, after a first engagement at the State Theater Hannover to 1988 among others at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen , at the Festival of Bad Hersfeld and the Theater Ernst-German commitment in Hamburg. In recent years, Schaefer has appeared in many television films and series, for example In the Name of the Law and The Streets of Berlin .

Since the first episode (1998) he played the role of caretaker Heinz August Pasulke in the children's and youth series Schloss Einstein . At the beginning of January 2014, Schaefer announced that it would leave the series for the time being due to health problems. He can be seen for the last time in episode 797. On August 28, 2014, it was announced that Schaefer had died on August 20 after a long, serious illness at the age of 58.
